The Net Futures 2015 conference will take place in Brussels on 25th and 26th of March 2015.
The conference will start with the cluster meetings on the 25th of March, which will include not only the four clusters of the Network Technologies unit, but also others which will take place in parallel, in relation to the other domains of the Net Futures Directorate. The conference will then go on for the afternoon and the next day.
The conference is a challenging new concept because after 11 years of FIA (Future Internet Assembly), we have decided to revamp the whole concept. We will try out new ways of conferencing, with a session in “unconference” style. Some hints in a nutshell:
- Plenaries with some of the most influential minds in R&I, cross-cutting sessions, the Unconference and a FIWARE Challenge are the main activities of the #netfutures15.
- A three–pillar structure representing the stages in the life-cycle of an idea: research and innovation, technological validation, and final delivery to market.
- Visionary ideas and provocative talks that define the future of technological R&I and contribute to growth and employment and towards a Digital Single Market.
You can register to the conference using the “concertation meetings” code NFCONC2015. Do not hesitate to encourage your partners in the project to register as well. While registering you will also be able to book your hotel at negotiated rates.
