EuCNC 2017 will take place in Oulu, Finland, from 12th to 15th June 2017. iCIRRUS is co-organising a workshop entitled ‘New x-haul solutions for the 5G transport challenge – A joint workshop of the iCIRRUS, 5G-Crosshaul and 5G-XHaul projects’ on the 12th of June.
iCIRRUS was represented at ECOC 2016 through presentations by Philippe Chanclou (Orange) and Nathan Gomes (University of Kent) and Volker Jungnickel (Fraunhofer, HHI) who co-organised the workshop WS03 ‘Short range optical transmission for emerging 5G fronthaul, DCI and Metro Networks’.
